LEGO Robert Indiana LOVE Sculpture

Love is in the air as we welcome Robert Indiana's iconic "The American LOVE (White Blue Red)" to Cheekwood!

A prominent leader in the Pop Art movement, Indiana made love a central theme in his artwork beginning in the 1960s and continuing throughout his career. His sculptures have been displayed throughout the world in museums, galleries, gardens, and even on city streets. "The American LOVE (White Blue Red)" was conceived in 1966 and fabricated of polychrome aluminum in 1999. The work on display at Cheekwood is number 4 of only 5 such sculptures in Indiana's collection, and will be on exhibit through November 2, 2025.
